Reduce cost per click in DV360 advertising campaigns

Solution

The advertiser analyzed current advertising campaigns. Based on this data, the Admixer Advertising team suggested to create two separate Line Items (LI) with the same budget for the test: Custom Bidding test group and Automatic Bidding control group.

 

The Custom Bidding script was based on three conversions:

  • filling out the online form to receive additional information;
  • a phone call to speak with a specialist;
  • contact through social networks.

The weight of conversions was distributed depending on its value for the advertiser. Peak hours received additional weight, when advertising campaigns generated more conversions and clicks.

 

Results

CPC (cost per click) in the test group with the Custom Bidding script is 6.6 times lower compared to the Automatic Bidding control  group
